The fun begins at 8 pm on Friday Night, November 19th and will last all the way through Sunday Evening at 5 pm!! ...6 dances in all, 2 featuring wonderful bands! | | Hailing from Chicago, IL, The Flat Cats are legend for their Swinging Jazz and Blues. They play everything from contemporary classics to timeless standards and all that is wonderful in between. This amazing six piece band has played all over the Midwest at locations such as Navy Pier, Arcada Theatre, the Willowbrook Ballroom, Pete Miller's, Green Dolphin Lounge, and the Summer Dance Series in Grant park. If you haven't heard them play, you haven't heard nothin' yet! | A Peoria blues quartet that has made its mark on the region, T Bone Craig will leave you crawling to the dance floor and begging for more! Since forming in '07, the band has built up an amazing repertoire, bringing songs from BB King, Dr. John, Howling Wolf, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Duke Robilard, and so many more. Receiving rave reviews after being featured at the last two Peoria Blues and Jazz Exchanges and various other events around the area, we are proud to bring T Bone Craig to the first BULX! Salsa Dancers, learn this incredibly fun style where you dance in sync with others and swap partners constantly! Must
already know salsa including cross body lead turns and have good timing. Demonstrate your skills with the
group later that night at the dance party!

SALSA COMPETITIONS
To be held on Saturday, January 29th during the Chicagoland Salsa Championships at the Willowbrook Ballroom.
Two categories of competition, danced in a Just Dance (Lead-Follow) style.
PROFESSIONALS/OPEN: Anyone is welcome to enter this division. Those that have received financial compensation for teaching or performing in any dance form within the past 5 years MUST enter this division.
AMATEUR: Has not received financial compensation for teaching or performing in any dance form within the past 5 years.
If one person in the dance partnership has received financial compensation for teaching or performing in any dance form with in the past 5 years, they must dance in the Professional/Open Division.
You should enter with a pre-determined partner of your choosing. You will dance with several couples on the floor at once to a random song chosen by the DJ. No routines or costumes allowed. No aerials or lifts. All dancers must keep at least one foot on the floor at all times. | P R I Z E S

Dance in a variety of styles in the warmth of the Pritzker Pavilion stage, with the stunning wintry cityscape as a backdrop beyond the retractable glass doors. Those strolling past outside are given a taste of the fun and revelry onstage by music broadcast over the speakers on the Great Lawn. Joel Patterson and the Modern Sounds will open the live music portion of the event at 8:15, also on the main stage in the ballroom. The "Grammy Nominated" Matthew Skoller and his Blues Band will keep the Bunkeris hopping all night long. There are confirmed dance performances, by student groups from Big City Swing and the Galaxie. Seattle's historic Century Ballroom's won swing nights house band, is a jazz band dedicated to popular
music of the 1920s, 1930s an early 1940s. Chicago's own LePercolateur brings a new, hip vocal twist to the gypsy-jazz scene.
